BUSY BOY

Hey there my sweet baby boy,
It has been way too long since I have written, I must admit things have been crazy and I have been a bit of a basket case. Time is going by so quickly and you will be making your debut in a little less than 10 weeks. I have a feeling you want to meet me a little sooner and will come before your due date, I am totally okay with that by the way :)
So my job hosted my first baby shower for you, that was a total hit, you were showered with so many gifts and blessed with so much love. Nana keeps saying we are going to have to change you 2-3 times a day just to get you in all your cute cute clothes. Your aunties and God mommy have been busy planning your next shower, Dr. Seuss themed of course, its at the end of the month and we finally got the invitations today :)
You and I are getting closer and closer, you let me know when you dont like something or even when you do. You like to kick mommy after I drink chocolate milk and as soon as I lay down, Right now as I type this you are laying really low and kicking me to let me know you are awake. We went to the doctor the other day to see you and you were sucking and yawning it was the cutest thing. From what we can tell you have lips like me and eyes like your daddy. We still havent fully decided on a name, but you and I both know its going to be Grant. Well, Grant... (lol) I promise not to wait so long to write again. Mommy loves you very much and we will chat soon!

Getting Ready for BOY!

Hello honey,
I know it has been way too long since I have written to you but that is only because you and I have conversations all day now, according to many different websites you can hear my voice so we talk about all kinds of things.
So almost 4 weeks ago we learned your sex and you are a boy, but you knew that already, cant believe that I am having the first boy. Everyone is so thrilled, your Daddy could hardly contain his excitement! Nana and your aunties are shopping like crazy, you are starting to move Mommy out of her own room. I will be 6 months pregnant this Wednesday and time is flying by, it is so hard to believe that it has been 6 months already...
Mommy and Daddy are having a hard time agreeing on a name, so feel free to chime in at anytime... :)
I am feeling you move more and more each day and today you are sitting on my lungs because I cant seem to catch my breath, its okay because I know it will all be worth it. We are in the process of making plans for your baby shower eventhough it isnt until late August but it gives us something to look forward to.
You are getting really big, weighing over a pound already, which is crazy to me, we go back to the doctor on June 28th where he will tell us exactly what is going on. I had to go to the doctor the other day because we had a little scare, but Dr. Andrews assured us all was fine.
Today is Father's Day so I took your Daddy to O'Charleys for lunch and the whole time we were there you were kicking and carrying on, I think you recognized his voice... :)
I decided on a theme for your nursery and for your baby shower...What do you think of Dr. Seuss...I think you are going to love it.
Anyway, that is all for now, we will talk tonight. Dont forget to say your prayers.

Hello my love,
I am sorry that it has been so long since I have written to you. So much has happened the past couple of weeks for the both of us.
I have officially switched doctors to a doctor in Pensacola, I think you like him because during the ultrasound you were dancing in my belly like crazy, I hope that is a good sign.
Today I am officially 4 months pregnant and you are the size of an avocado and you can hear me, right now you are probably wondering what the pecking noise of my nails beating the keyboard is, little do you know that this sound will be oh so familiar soon. I am going to start reading to you and telling you about my day, it should be any day now according to Dr. Andrews that I feel you move, I have heard horror stories so take it easy on Mommy's ribs.
Well, honey the main reason for writing today is because I wanted to tell you about your Great Grandma and Great Grandfather that are loving you from heaven, for the past 2 weeks I have had a strong sense that they have been watching over me and that their presence is near, I am sad that you will not get to meet them for they were both so great, but something tells me you already know them both. Your new name that I will reveal soon will have a lot to do with them depending on your sex, that I find out on May 25Th which just happens to be 2 days before Sex and the City 2 comes out and 3 days before my birthday, I cant wait for that week to get here, its going to be magical.

Baby Peach and Fire Face Mommy

Hello lovely,
So, let me catch you up to speed on everything that has been going on. I have finally crossed over into the world of 2nd trimester which is a huge relief because you sent Mommy to the bathroom too often during the first 3 months, although I did throw up the other day it was nothing compared to the past couple of weeks. But the weirdest thing happened, I woke up a couple days ago with red bloches all over my face, I mean covered, I looked like fire face. The doc said it was just an allergic reaction to something that is in my prenatal vitamin.
Currently I am 13 weeks and you are 3 inches long, according to different websites you are the size of a peach and have your own little finger prints, I think that is so neat.
Your Grandpa is in town and Aunt Dee and Aunt Kim and even Nana have been keeping him busy with chores and yard work but he loves it.
We dont know your sex yet but have been throwing around many names. Grandpa says if you are a boy your name should be Gordon Gordon, I dont know if we will go with that but we will see, however we have decided on a girl name that even your Daddy loves....Saige McKenzie.... What do you think?
I have finally decided to switch doctors because we will be living in Pensacola permantently and Mommy will drive to Mobile for work everyday while you spend the day with Nana, you are going to love that. Well hang in there babe, we will see you soon enough!

Water ballet for the lime in my belly.

Dear Baby,
So I haven't written to you in awhile because Mommy has been really nauseous, but its okay, it will all be worth it. I am officially 11 weeks and according to some websites you are the size of a lime and your nail beds are starting to form you no longer have any webs on your hands or feet and are moving a lot, they say your so graceful that it looks like you are doing water ballet. That is awesome because I really like the ballet.
I went to the doctor this past week, I am considering switching doctors because my doctor is kinda blah and doesn't make me feel comfortable. So now the great debate is...Get a doctor in Pensacola or in Mobile? The whole time the plan has been to move back to Mobile, but lately I have been considering moving back to Pensacola and just commuting everyday to work... I am torn with this decision. What should we do love?
Your grandpa is coming to visit this weekend for Easter so we are super excited about that, this will be the first time that I have seen him since we found out you were going to be joining our family...

You Lucky Girl....or Boy!

Dear Baby,
You have been giving Mommy quite the time the past couple of days, been feeling really yucky and food is the last thing I want but everyone keeps telling me that I MUST eat, so I am but only for you! :)
So, now that I am 9 weeks preggers people are constantly asking questions, such as what are you going to name the baby, are you going to find out what you are having, what do you want, wait until next trimester and everyone wants to rub Mommy's belly. At first I was getting really irritated and then I realized just how lucky you are. Baby, you are coming into a family that was excited for you before there was even a you. You are coming into a family that is full of love and happiness, a family that loves to be around one another, a family who is totally comfortable with who they are. It is so crazy because you are coming into a crazy world but an amazing family. I am also very lucky that I have such amazing friends that are excited about you too...You are going to have 100 Mommy's and like 20 Daddy's. Although everyone is really excited about you joining are crew, no one is as excited as your Mommy. Until later, take it easy on your Mommy.

Good morning baby,
So I was reading this article the other day that baby will often throw you signs as to what sex you are and what time of the day you will be arriving. I do realize that it is a long time away before we meet, but I do feel like you and I already have this connection, specifically around 5 am when you send me running to the bathroom to empty my bladder. Without fail I will get up at 5am everyday including my off days to chat with you as I straddle the closest toilet. So I am wondering does this mean that I will be meeting you around 5 am? I usually get up for work in the 5th hour of the morning since I am driving to and from Mobile everyday, so I cant really say I am against meeting you that early, just as long as after you get here you agree that you are just as tired as I will be and we can sleep the rest of the day...AH HAHAHAHA, All of my new mommy friends seem to think I am crazy when I tell them my baby is going to sleep through the night, but we will show them...right baby!
